Debla

DEBLA was founded in 1979. The school and its shared apartment are situated in the same building at the bottom of the Gibralfaro mountain, one of the greenest residential areas of Málaga. From every terrace of the building you can enjoy the lovely views on the Mediterranean Sea. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the historic centre and 5 minutes to the beach.

The school has WI-FI in the whole building. It is possible to use your laptop in class.

Debla receives about 700 students every year, the high season is July, August and September.

The name of our school has its origin in the flamenco: "Debla" is a popular flamenco singing.

Our philosophy

Our aim is to provide you with high quality teaching and facilities to enjoy your stay in Málaga. After your stay in our school, you will not only be able to speak Spanish, but you will also have got to know a part of Andalucia. Our experience, our beautiful school building with its sunny class rooms, the garden and the terraces with views of the Mediterranean, the surroundings and first of all, the personal treatment of each student create that very special family atmosphere that we are known for.

Debla is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and it is a member of the Costa del Sol Tourist Board and of ACEM (Association of Spanish Schools in Málaga), of EEA (Spanish in Andalucia) and of Fedele (Federation of Spanish schools for Spanish as a foreign language ).

“Business certificate” – Málaga Chamber of Commerce. “D.E.L.E.” (Diploma del Español como Lengua Extranjera) – Instituto Cervantes.
