First day at DEBLA
STEP 1: BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
Ensure that you have carefully read and understood the student guide which Debla will send you once you have reserved your Spanish course. The guide contains information about both the school and the city of Malaga and offers useful tips and advice which will help you find your way around the city, therefore, allowing you to make the most of your stay.
STEP 2: FIRST DAY AT DEBLA
When you first arrive to our language school in Malaga, you will be welcomed by a school representative who will provide you with the programme for your first day at Debla.
All of our students are requested to sit a written and oral placement test on arrival to determine the correct language level for each. Students who have completed our on-line test must also sit this to corroborate the on-line test result.
You will be informed of your Spanish language level, your class schedule and classroom so that you can begin lessons that same day.
STEP 3: GUIDED VISIT TO MALAGA
A guided visit to Malaga takes place on the first day of school and new students have the option to either take part in this visit or to attend their lesson.
There is also a welcome drink for our new starters and during this you will be informed of your language level, your class schedule and your classroom. Every Monday, from 13:00 h, you will find the class schedule for the week on the student information board. Please note that the time lessons may change during the week and therefore, we advise students to view the board on a daily basis in case of any updates.
At Debla, we organise activities and excursions that perfectly combine learning with leisure allowing students to learn Spanish in Malaga while also enjoying the company of their classmates. Our activities programme is updated and available on the student information board every Friday from 13:30 onwards.
Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We also have a Facebook group called “Actividades Debla – Aprendiendo español”, where we post information about our activities. We recommend you follow this group so as to not miss out on any activity! It´s also a great way to contact other students from the school, share photos, opinions and arrange to meet up!
